OUR REVERSE OSMOSIS SYSTEM CONFIGURATIONS

Using high efficiency 8 – inch reverse osmosis elements with 10% greater membrane surface area,  Our reverse osmosis  systems are able to significantly reduce TDS in both municipal and well water sources while producing higher volumes of permeate water. Low energy brackish water membranes are available for cold temperature applications and high rejection brackish water membranes are available for high TDS applications.

 

Our reverse osmosis systems feature a pre–programmed computer controller (Optional), motorized feed valve, TDS/conductivity probes and panel–mounted pressure and flow instrumentation. The larger models include digital flow indicators and VFD motor controls. Stainless steel components are used for the vertical multistage pump, cartridge filter housing, high pressure piping and valves, and the side ports on the FRP membrane housings.

Our Wall Mount Reverse Osmosis System are a cost–effective solution for light commercial reverse osmosis applications such as coffee, tea, food preparation, misting,  hydroponics, detailing, dental care and more.

These Series Reverse Osmosis Systems feature a compact wall mount space saving design and comes pre– assembled and ready for immediate service with simple utility connections. These systems are available incapacities of 200 and 300 gallons per day and feature a single pump design for reliable performance. Each model is engineered with quality components including fiberglass (FRP) membrane housings, extra low energy membranes, pressure gauges, filters and housings.

 

Under-sink Reverse Osmosis System

Many people will not drink directly from the municipal water source thus the Ghana water system. The under sink RO features a four stage pre–filter, membrane and post–filter design that is housed inside a single cartridge. A fifth stage post–polishing inline carbon filter is installed mostly under the kitchen sink for even better tasting water, providing drinking water not exposed to direct sunlight against the usual plastic drinking water that is always exposed to direct sunlight. This system includes a two–gallon white storage tank, faucet, tubing and quick connect fittings for a fast and easy installation.

Our Clean–In–Place System (CIP) is a mobile skid used for cleaning membranes without removing them from the reverse osmosis system. The CIP systems are designed to be easily integrated with any of our reverse osmosis models. However, these CIP systems are also engineered as standalone systems that are compatible with any manufacturer’s membrane system.

 The Clean–In–Place Systems vary in size according to the number of membrane vessels that are to be cleaned in parallel, which is determined by the number of vessels in the first stage of the reverse osmosis skid. A centrifugal pump provides the recirculation flow and pressure recommended by the membrane manufacturer. A built–in recycle loop allows for mixing of cleaning agents prior to use and tank level switches to protect the pump. Options include an immersion heater, a pH monitor, installation kit and caster wheels. The cleaners are compatible with all brands of reverse osmosis, nanofiltration and ultrafiltration membranes.

 

 

Key information about all reverse osmosis membrane elements you should know

Proper start – up of reverse osmosis water treatment systems is essential to prepare the membranes for operating service and to prevent membrane damage due to overfeeding or hydraulic shock. Before initiating system start – up procedures, membrane pretreatment, loading of the membrane elements, instrument calibration and other system checks should be completed.

 

Avoid any abrupt pressure or cross – flow variations on the spiral elements during start – up, shutdown, cleaning or other sequences to prevent possible membrane damage. During start – up, a gradual change from a standstill to operating state is recommended as follows:

Feed pressure should be increased gradually over a 30 – 60 second time frame.

 

Cross – flow velocity at set operating point should be achieved gradually over 15 – 20 seconds.

Permeate obtained from first hour of operation should be discarded.

Maximum pressure drop across an entire pressure vessel (housing) is 30 psi / 2.1 bar.

Avoid static permeate – side backpressure at all times.
